Litchi chinensis): types of shoots (vegetative shoots, generative shoots, and mixed and transition shoots); role of growth regulators (cytokinins, auxins, ethylene, gibberellins and abscisic acid) and potassium chlorate in shoot initiation; effects of environmental factors (temperature, drought, nitrogen, and pruning and girdling) on shoot induction; floral morphology; floral development; sex ratio; ovule development and pistil receptivity; pollen viability; and pollination.
