This chapter explores how land grabbing hinders the mobility of pastoralist communities in Gujarat in India and how the restricted mobility affects their livelihood, personal well-being and gender relations. The chapter identifies ways in which the loss of access to land, and correspondingly the loss of livestock, influences social practices.
