Improving lives by solving problems in agriculture and the environment

Get Involved

The world we live in today faces challenges that require concerted efforts to resolve. Global problems are often too complex or too interconnected to be resolved by any one organization. That is why parterships are at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that real answers are found when organizations and individuals, countries and regions, work together to solve problems and build sustainable livelihoods.

So how can you, or your organization get involved?

Donors and funding

Donors and funding organizations, can support CABI's research, projects and people at a local or even global scale and directly benefit some of the world's poorest communities; alleviate food security; improve livelihoods; and support biodiversity and the environment in a climate smart manner.

Why fund us?

Become a research partner

CABI brings highly focussed expertise to many research programmes; so if your country or organization is engaged with issues in agriculture or the environment and is looking for a research partner with a proven track record in delivering impact, please contact us.

Read about the subjects we focus on.

Every database subscription and every book bought supports our efforts to improve people's lives by solving problems in agriculture and the environment.

We don't have shareholders. Instead our profits are used to fund our international development and research activities.

We publish abstract databases, internet resources, compendia, books and eBooks. All these resources are used by students and researchers working towards finding solutions to scientific problems that affect people around the globe. Where people are working in agriculture, the environment, public health, animal sciences etc. the chances are they have used information produced or managed by CABI.

Membership of CABI gives national governments a leadership role in directing and influencing the global development agenda through the work of the organization and its international network of partners.
