Improving lives by solving problems in agriculture and the environment

Flags of our member countries

CABI was established by a United Nations treaty-level agreement between 49 member countries. Each member country has an equal role in the organization’s governance, policies and strategic direction, in addition to enjoying a number of privileges and services relating to our scientific expertise, products and resources.

Our members set our strategic direction. This means that CABI’s work delivers development and research projects and scientific publishing products that strengthen and complement your existing capability. Yet membership of CABI provides much more.

Access your benefits, including free consultancy, microbial identification services and discounted publishing, compendia and database products.

Joining CABI enables national governments and organizations to tackle their agriculture and environmental problems as well as influence the global and regional development agenda.

Benefit from greater international collaboration, knowledge sharing and experience with our member countries, our donors and extensive in-country, regional and international partner networks to develop joint projects and address common goals.

If you're interested in finding out more, please read our membership brochure or access our SpanishFrench or Chinese inserts.

Country membership is determined among our member countries and requires formal submissions by the country concerned.

If you would like to join CABI or are interested in becoming a member, please download our become a member flyer and discover the benefits of joining CABI.
