Human Sciences

Human Sciences

CABI’s Human Sciences coverage encompasses public health, global health, nutrition, and food sciences.

Our world-renowned database Global Health gives researchers, students and professionals unparalleled access to global public health research and practice including hard-to-find grey literature. Subjects we cover include health systems, evidence-based practice, health promotion and the concept of ‘One Health’ (the interface of animal, human and environmental health).

Our Global Health Archive, a fully searchable database of research containing 800,000 records, extends our global public health coverage back to 1910.

Nutrition and food issues such as obesity, food safety and food security are becoming topical as countries adapt to globalization, the spread of western culture, and climate change. Our Nutrition and Food Sciences internet resource provides researchers, students and professionals with research information and news on topics across nutrition and the food supply chain.
